Enlisted by Richard Riordan, Peter W. Mullin was a founding Trustee of the Catholic Education Foundation. He was very focused on advancing the mission of CEF.
Peter and Richard M. Ferry led the “Founders Campaign” component of Grant the Dream. This campaign was the beginning of CEF hosting school tours and inviting friends and business colleagues to events which helped raise a $100 million endowment.
In the CEF 25th Anniversary program publication, Peter was quoted as saying, “I did this because I was aware of two truths. First, that there was a powerful need to help our disadvantaged children in obtaining a Catholic education. Second, that receiving a Catholic education was one of the best ways to assure the future of these bright children.”
After serving as a Trustee, he continued to support CEF as a member of our Board of Regents. Most recently, the Peter W. Mullin Family Foundation was one of three title sponsors for our 35th Anniversary celebration.
