In its second year, the New Enrollment Initiative (NEI) has made a profound impact by welcoming more children into our Catholic schools. This program was created due to an anonymous donation with the goal of increasing student enrollment across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
One component of this initiative is the Shea Tuition Award (STA) with a tiered funding structure based on the school’s tuition and the family’s financial need. The most financially deserving elementary school and high school students have been able to receive Shea Tuition Awards of up to 50% and 70% of their child’s tuition respectively. This program has aggressively played a role in empowering our Catholic schools with more students and revenue.
