With sincere appreciation, it is our pleasure to present the 2022-2023 Catholic Education Foundation Impact Report.
Through the generosity of donors like you, over 15,000 tuition awards were distributed this year to our families within Catholic schools, making an excellent education accessible and affordable.
As a result, our Catholic enrollment remains strong because of the dedicated teachers and administrators who care very deeply about the academic, social and spiritual growth of each and every student. In this process, their families are also supported, particularly in our poorest communities of the Archdiocese.
Students formed within our Catholic schools recognize that they are a unique gift. They learn that they have a responsibility to respond to the needs of others, supporting their neighbors and advocating for the most marginalized groups within their communities. Catholic education is an advantage for life.
I am always in awe of the sacrifices that families will make to prioritize a Catholic education for their children, which is often an extremely difficult thing to do. With your incredible financial support of CEF over the past 35 years, you have made this education accessible for tens of thousands of children and their families.
Our Catholic schools and those they serve will not only survive, but also thrive within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles with your continued support and generosity.
Gratefully yours,
Dear Friends,
In thanksgiving for your generous support, I am pleased to share with you the 2022-2023 Catholic Education Foundation Impact Report. Established in 1987, the Catholic Education Foundation continues to provide tuition assistance to the most financially deserving students attending Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Each day, our schoolteachers and leaders enrich the lives of our students with values of faith, family, and service, while providing an academically stimulating curriculum.
Because of your generosity, we were able to provide 15,062 tuition awards in excess of $22,000,000 to more than 13,000 students attending over 200 schools throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, spanning the counties of Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles.
Our 35th Anniversary Celebration in October of 2022 at Sofi Stadium was a special way to honor the legacy of our Past Presidents and to reaffirm our commitment to supporting our students for generations to come.
As you will notice throughout our Impact Report, there are QR codes on some of the pages for you to scan and view videos that further highlight our impact in action.
Your continued investment in our CEF students empowers their future, and I thank you for your support and dedication to our mission.
Sincerely,
