COVID-19 CEF Statement
First and foremost—our thoughts are with you, your families, and everyone throughout the world who has been impacted by COVID-19.
As disciples of Christ, we are asked to come together during this time of uncertainty and we are committed to taking all necessary measures to stay healthy and be messengers of hope and peace in our communities. This week, our staff was advised to adjust our schedules, work remotely, and ensure that we are minimizing the number of employees present at one time, in order to reduce contact and practice social distancing. As of today, we have been ordered by both Gov. Gavin Newsom and LA County government officials to stay home during this “Safer At Home” mandate.
Second, we want to inform you that CEF will stay open and fully operational through this change in our daily lives and routines. The entire CEF staff will be working remotely to serve the communities and families in need of tuition assistance.
Lastly, we want you to know that we are here for you and are happy to stay in touch by e-mail, phone or even direct mail and that we welcome your support through this time.
As the recommendations by the CDC and government agencies change, CEF’s schedules and other working conditions may change. We ask for your support and understanding as we assess and respond to new recommendations, mandates or laws.
Again, we are dedicated to our mission and committed to serving the thousands of families throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
