Celebrating CEF’s Champions

Building Communities. Changing Lives. Funding Futures

CEF 30th Anniversary Celebration Recap

CEF held its 30th Anniversary dinner, Celebrating CEF Champions, in May 2017 on the floor of the iconic Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. It was a unique and special evening, bringing together more than 500 CEF “fans” and supporters, who all believe that a Catholic education provides lifelong benefits and blessings. The CEF team presented awards to two CEF Champions at the event. Dr. Mario Molina received the Cornerstone of the Community Award and Mr. Alex Chacon received the Keystone of the Community Award. A highlight of the evening was the student speaker Jordan Blackman who shared his inspiring personal story and described how CEF’s support has had a positive impact on his life and future.

CEF would particularly like to thank the student ambassadors from San Gabriel Mission High School, St. Joseph High School in Lakewood, Paraclete High School, and the marching band and cheerleaders of Bishop Amat Memorial High School for sharing their talents and spirited energy with the CEF Champions.
