Save Our Students

The Save Our Students (SOS) Program is a donor-designated program that was created in 1998 for economically disadvantaged students identified as severely “at-risk”. Students who are selected to receive SOS funding meet one or more at-risk factors and face extreme economic, social, and personal circumstances. CEF works hard to connect with school principals to identify SOS students. In addition to receiving TAP awards, SOS students receive an extra $500 for tuition, increasing the total value of each award to $1500 per student in grades Pre-K to 8 and $2500 per student in grades 9 to 12.
